Minneapolis
“Thank you so much for extending the continued support of the Miniapple community. We are so grateful for our time with you and all your love and care of William. He has such a strong foundation for success – thank you for helping us continue that trajectory.”
– Ann, John and William
“We cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for our boys and for us over the last few years. Miniapple will be always a special place for all of us. We have a lot of happy memories and will always remember the kids, the music, the Halloween parades, the Winter and Spring Programs, and, of course, the wonderful staff who genuinely cared for our boys and provided us with so much guidance and support.”
– Antonella & Robert
“We recommend Miniapple wholeheartedly: caring, engaged teachers and staff; approachable and responsive administration who are totally connected to the kids and activities; a positive, encouraging, and diverse environment for kids to learn and grow. We’re so glad Ada joined your program!"
– Nicole & Jim
“Really excellent teachers and assistants. Oscar very much loved Wangmo and Najat! Peaceful classrooms where kids learn. The teachers and other staff make the wonderful community what it is. They shaped Oscar from 2 1/2 to the 6-year-old boy we love.”
– Genevieve
“It is incredibly hard to close this chapter of Eero’s life to make room for the next one. Miniapple has been such an incredible and ideal environment to send Eero to every week. We credit you for so much of his character, good nature and spirit – one of kindness, compassion, curiosity and appreciation. We have loved hearing his stories about different lessons, fun activities, field trips and “works” throughout the years. He has felt so genuinely loved and cared for at Miniapple. This weekend he got sad thinking of leaving and told us he wished he could stay for ‘one hundred and thirty-one and one million more days’. You are amazing at what you do!”
– Salmela family
“Words cannot express our gratitude for your wisdom, dedication & patience you gave to our children. You have all changed & impacted our lives so much (forever). You provide a “magical” environment for children to become their best selves, through encouragement, creativity & self-driven growth!”
– Coin Family
“I want to thank you for the place you all have built for all the children who are lucky enough to come into contact with Miniapple! We feel truly blessed to have found such a perfect fit for Isa and our family. The community you have built is truly a gift!”
– Carrie
“All of our boys have benefitted tremendously from attending Miniapple. Whether they were struggling with some issue or showing how well they could do something, the teachers at Miniapple have been there to support and guide all three of our guys. I just cannot say how important Miniapple has been in their growth and development. Thank you for all the love and caring you have showered over my boys over the last eight years.”
– Jennifer
“Nurturing environment allows children to develop according to their abilities.”
– Abigail Pribbenow
“Anna (4) came all the way from Amsterdam, the Netherlands to Miniapple. She didn’t speak a word of English and it was her first preschool experience. It turned out to be a great adventure. With help of very patient and kind teachers, and the useful method of teaching they use at Miniapple, Anna has a wonderful time. Within a couple of months, she speaks fluently English and loves to go to school. She especially likes music class, reading, and the French classes. Our challenge is right now to keep her Dutch understandable.”
– Irene
“I like all of the extra learning opportunities Miniapple offers…French, yoga, music, field trips, soccer.”
– Kari Cornell
"Our kid attended preschool here for 2 years. It was not just a 'play-school', but she learned many 'jobs' and 'works', which she demonstrated to us during their 'presentation time'. We have noted significant changes in her behavior and routine through the learning she had from this Montessori school. She was practiced to do things independently and as a team member. In particular the class teacher our daughter got was one-of-a-kind, she is very sincere, passionate about and dedicated to the Montessori style education. I would send our next kid to this school, strongly recommended!"
- Dr. Pramod Pisharady
"We have so enjoyed being a part of the Miniapple community, and couldn't be happier with the care and education our son has received. We see the fruits of your hard work everyday as he grows more independent, confident, and resilient."
- Jen S.
"Miniapple has been an important part of our family for more than 6 years. Please let Najat and Arianna know how grateful we are for everything they have done for our son. They are talented, caring teachers."
- Martin & Courtney
"We have sent both our children here, one all the way through his Kindergarten year. The staff has remained consistently outstanding. They are kind, caring, know our kids and make them feel loved and cared for. They also challenge them academically. The amount of independence and learning that takes place is just phenomenal. We love Miniapple. You absolutely won't regret sending your child here."
- Phil M.
"We would like to express that we have found your program to be exceptional. We had such a great experience every step of the way. Our son thrived and loved his experience at Miniapple. We have so appreciated all the communication."
- Ixchel and Jason
"Our child has always felt at home with all of you and has made so many wonderful memories. We were always extremely happy with Miniapple. Thank you for the wonderful environment you have created for our child."
- Jan and Anna
"We will always be grateful we found Miniapple for the children when we moved here. What a wonderful school for both of them to transition after our move. Your program and teachers are beyond excellent. We greatly appreciated the teachers' thoughtfulness, genuine care, and expertise."
- Natalie
"We have been with Miniapple for nearly six years and our two kids who have gone on to kindergarten are examples of the great work you do with kids!"
- Lauren
"We are both excited for our daughter to start her new adventure at St. Paul Public Schools and sad to be leaving the Miniapple family. So many staff have taken such wonderful care of our girls and I cannot express how much we appreciate it. Though this is a typical transition, it is not a typical time and we have found the consistency, care and continued love for our daughter to be priceless.
Also, it is not lost on us the small number of COVID exposures reported at Miniapple. I have heard reports of many classrooms and schools being closed across the Twin Cities and there have been few at Miniapple. The whole staff should know that we recognize how much sacrifice this has required, and we want to say thank you!"
- Rachelle
Both of our boys started in the Infant Room. Miniapple has been a big part of the beginning of their lives, and we're grateful for all of the wonderful care and guidance they've received from you.
- Ben S.
"Our daughter will be starting first grade in the fall. What a great 6+ years she's had with you!"

We’d like to extend a special thank you to Caden and Kama’s teachers and aides, as well as Lisa, for being directly involved on a daily basis with our children. We will sincerely miss our Miniapple family, and we thank you for helping us give Caden and Kama a great start in life.”

Our children have learned skills that will help them throughout their lives, and have developed loving, trusting relationships with the staff and other children. This has been a joyful journey for our family and we are ever so grateful.”
– Kerry and Michael

– Mark and Trish
“Our child reaches out to her teachers, which is a great feeling! She smiles when we say their names and goes to the door when it’s time to leave our house. We know that all of you love her and care very much about her safety and happiness.”
– Mary and Mark Barsness
“Both of our children, one quite shy, and the other quite outgoing, have thrived at this school. The supportive, dedicated staff and excellent teachers create an inviting and stimulating space where each child is nurtured and encouraged.”
– Kerry Morgan
“We have been at Miniapple for over 6 years now. We have had 2 children grow and learn there through the toddler and preschool program. I could not have imagined a better experience for my children or for us. Miniapple not only totally prepares children for their future education, but also gives them a very warm, caring environment in which to do so. The leadership and teachers at the Roseville Miniapple are first class! We would highly recommend Miniapple to anyone looking for more than just a “daycare”. I am sure your children would blossom here; ours did!”
– Angela & Brent Branson
"It is so hard to leave my child every morning, but today Deena was feeding her at pickup and made sure to burp and snuggle my daughter for a second before handing her over to me. It makes it easier to leave when she is so loved in her classroom! Thank you!"
- Olivia H.
"Ms. Rabia helped my children transition to Miniapple. She shows them love and care and makes them feel safe. There is something about the way that she talks to them that they really connect with. She teaches them and holds them to high expectations in such a loving way. Ms. Rabia, we really appreciate all that you do!"
- Shannon H.
"We’ve had at least one child at Miniapple Montessori since 2012. Our older daughter started when she was 7-months-old and finished when she was five-years-old. The staff at Miniapple took excellent care of her. When she was a baby, they taught her how to sleep on a cot, sit at a table, drink out of a cup, and use crayons and other art supplies to draw. As a toddler, they potty trained her for us! She knew how to use the bathroom by the time she was 1.5 years old. The toddler teacher taught her numbers and letters, as well as practical things like how to dress herself for going outside. My older daughter left Miniapple reading at a first-grade level, thanks to all the time her toddler and pre-K teachers spent teaching her letters, sounds, and how to put that all together to read. She also was advanced in her math skills, thanks to the staff at Miniapple. My younger daughter has been at Miniapple since she was 5-months-old, and is now in her last year of pre-school. We’ve had the same wonderful experience with her, and she is on track to be reading by the time she leaves Miniapple as well. I could not be more grateful to the staff at Miniapple for the loving care and patience they have shown both of my children, and for the time they have spent preparing them to succeed academically."
- Keshini Ratnayake
"Thank you, Ms. Aisha & Ms. Seung Jung, for teaching my child how to read! My child already had 1st-grade reading skills when she entered kindergarten this September at our local elementary school. She scored the highest in the class on her kindergarten reading assessment. She knows most of the sight words, all her letters and the majority of her letter sounds at the start of kindergarten. My child loves to read and to practice sounding out and memorizing new words. Thank you for teaching her these early reading skills! It has set her up well for the transition to kindergarten and has instilled the value & love of reading."
- Michelle M.
"Ms. Michelle set up a library check-out for my son to borrow books overnight. He Loves it! It makes him so excited to read new books each night. Thank you, Michelle, for always making my son feel so loved & special!"
- Andrea C.
"You guys are the best! This video (during COVID-19) is a hit when my son is feeling a bit lost and missing you all, as well as his friends. He loves everyone there and Miss Robin so much. It made my day to see him so happy singing along with her. This has been the single most incredible thing you all have done for him, in a list I thought would have been tough to beat."
- A. Eilts
"This school is amazing! We are entering our 9th straight year of attending Miniapple with our youngest about to enter the kindergarten program. The core group of teachers and the director have been there the entire 9 years. The continuity of staff really helps build the feeling of family and community between the school and families. We are proud to be members of the Miniapple family and it is worth every penny!"
- Justin L.
"Two granddaughters were taken care of from their infancy through Kindergarten at Miniapple Roseville. We watched them grow in
confidence, self esteem and the love of learning. The foundations for future academic excellence was firmly established by the professional, courteous staff who treated the children with a lot of patience and love as they navigated their way though the primary development stages of life. We would recommend Miniapple to those discerning parents who want a safe, nurturing environment for their young children."
- Baratha R.
"Both of our children thrived at Miniapple. Children are capable of so much if we give them the right environment, which is what Minniapple does so well! We couldn't have asked for a more loving and nurturing group of teachers and staff. Teachers and staff were also great at communicating with parents and worked hard to build a sense of community for families."
- Katherine
"My child had her kindergarten assessment today for letters and sounds and she got 49/52 letter names correct (upper and lowercase combined) and 19/26 letter sounds - which the teacher thought was 'super awesome' and that she was way ahead of the curve! The time spent at Miniapple is definitely paying off in her early kindergarten days! Thank you Ms. Nou and Miniapple!"
- Dominika
"My toddler is thriving in her Montessori classroom. For her to
have an opportunity to flourish and become her own person makes me as a parent know that I made the right choice in choosing Miniapple."
- Anonymous
""I like that my child can choose the area that she likes, and progress in that. I also like that Miniapple teaches about world geography, and plants and a wide range of topics. This will foster varied interests in the kids, and encourage them to learn outside of the classroom as well."
- Anonymous
"My toddler loves learning in his Montessori classroom! The teachers are wonderful and we love how the foster my child’s independence and learning. My child has endless opportunities to foster his independence, explores his interests, and experience other cultures. It’s just amazing what he comes home knowing how to do and sharing what he’s excited to learn!"

“We have truly loved our time with you and all the staff, and are grateful for the patience, encouragement, time and love you gave to our daughters. I am forever thankful for your help in raising such amazingly smart, confident, compassionate and independent little people. Thank you especially to Marie, Betsy, Monica and Maria. We look forward to coming back for visits and wish you the best in the coming school year!"
- Jen & Eric
“Wonderful! Ms. Maria, Katie, Marie & Betsy are the best, but even the other teachers went out of their way to help & teach. Ms. Deb is fantastic – always easy to reach and willing to answer questions. Great balance of learning/fun/play. Our kids have grown so much since being at Miniapple. The school is a great size – not too big or too small, and clean.”
- Heather
“The entire staff has been amazing, and Connor simply adores everything about the school (as do we!). We can only hope to find such a great staff and facility in Montana. We will miss the smiling faces and warm feeling we get each day we come to the school. Each person has touched our lives in some way and helped get Connor off to a wonderful start in his scholastic career.”
– Tanya & Steve
“We love Miniapple! Although our son has only been in the Infant Room, we think the world of Miniapple and all the staff there. Everyone is friendly, kind, and wonderful with all the kids. Having your first child is hard, and bringing them to a daycare even more difficult. Miniapple and the staff in the Infant Room made that transition easier on us. The warm, nurturing, loving environment makes us happy we can bring him to a wonderful place. We’ve even learned a lot about being (better) parents from bringing our son to Miniapple. Kudos to Mary and Priscilla in the Infant Room – they are excellent, so loving and great with Isaac.”
– Mindi & Mike
“Ms. Kiehne, How can I put into words the gratitude, the comfort, the peace of mind you have given me the last 3 years? Knowing I left my son in your loving care every day has made such a hard thing to do so much easier. You were like a second mom to him, as well as a teacher. Your kind, gentle way with him and his classmates leaves us parents feeling good about our choice in leaving our most treasured gift in your care. Not only did you open their eyes to all of the fundamentals of school/education, you have taught them the invaluable lessons of life…love, humor, manners, manner, and more manners, respect, compassion, and did I say manners? You will always hold a special place in both our hearts.”
– Sandra
“We are so pleased with our decision to send our son to Miniapple. Whether it has been the Infant or Toddler Room, our family has felt welcomed and treated as part of the Miniapple family. Ryan has developed and progressed faster than we had expected, and he absolutely loves coming to school every day. In fact, on weekends he often talks about his teachers and friends. It is a safe and nurturing environment. When we are at work, we are confident our son is receiving top notch care. We would recommend Miniapple to anyone looking for a first-class child care program. In the future, without hesitation, we will continue to have Miniapple be a part of our family.”
– Amy & Pat
“I toured and researched at least a dozen Montessori schools. You are clearly the best of the best and I wouldn’t want my kids anywhere else! Even throughout our first year you continued to impress us. We will cry if either Ms. Monica or Ms. Prarthana leaves before all of my kids finish Kindergarten!”
– Gwen Rossini
“Ms. Kiehne and Ms. Tara are wonderful teachers and do a great job with Madison. They are both very nurturing and caring with the children and provide an excellent learning forum. I also very much appreciate the fact that this school does such a good job retaining their teachers – it makes me feel that much better as a parent knowing my daughter is in good hands. Thank you for all you do!”
– Stacy
“We’re impressed by continued improvements to Miniapple in addition to the excellence we saw when we first started 1 ½ years ago. When we tell our child he is going to Miniapple in the morning, he’s comfortable and receptive to the idea, which lets us know he’s happy there. He comes home with positive new skills we know he didn’t learn at home. Thanks so much, Miniapple staff!!"
– Oakley Biesanz and Leonard Madsen
“We are always impressed with the cleanliness of the common areas. The building is a beautiful, welcoming facility. The breadth of subjects the children are exposed to is fantastic. We applaud the policy to not include pop culture in the daily classroom activities. This makes for a more wholesome educational experience.”
“Our two girls, ages 2 and 4, have been fortunate enough to attend Miniapple Montessori since they were born. In addition to the Montessori teaching style, one of the factors that drew us to Miniapple was the teacher tenure. Anytime you have teachers in a childcare/development environment with 10-15+ years of experience with the same organization, then you know that the ownership is focused on taking care of their talent as well as that of their students. Ultimately, our girls are the ones who have decided that Miniapple is their home. They look forward to playing with their friends and have a warm and caring relationship with their teachers. As a parent, it is comforting to know that our girls are receiving high quality care, and we have truly enjoyed the experience with our Miniapple family.”
– Greg Poul
“We cannot sing enough praises about your school! Emma really blossomed in the Kindergarten program under the gentle guidance of Ms. Marie. She has had the very best foundation possible and is now well prepared to enter 1st grade in the fall. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the teachers and Ms. Deb. We shall miss you all, especially Ms. Marie – it is because of teachers like you that our children are successful.”
– Bob and Brigitte
“Miniapple Montessori is a wonderful school for our children. Our son started at Miniapple when he was 3 months old, and continued on until he was 6 years old. Our 2-year-old started when she was 5 months old, and she is now in pre-school at Miniapple. Our children always receive the best care, and we have not had any worries or concerns when we drop them off every morning. Even when our son had some medical issues, we felt comfortable that the staff would take the very best care of Nash at all times.”
– Kelley
Miniapple has become my home away from home, I'll be forever greatful for the friendly, caring community I have the privilege to work for. I love my job, my coworkers, the students and their families. The owner is constantly striving to make miniapple even better. Just last summer she opened a gorgeous outdoor classroom that all the students love. There is not one teacher that does not love their job at MIM, we all have a passion for education. We're an amazing team working together to make a bright community for students to explore and learn.
Nicole
"5 stars without a doubt. Walked out today from dropping my daughter of thinking how happy I am that she's here. We are on year two here and it's amazing. Deb the director is fantastic, the teachers are excellent, the aids are very friendly and the education far exceeds any daycare we've been to before, this is our 2nd child. Our son went to 3 daycares due to moves and job changes and this is the 3rd and final for our daughter. We didn't necessarily come here for the Montessori way of education but I love it, it's exactly what our little girl needs. I feel safe and secure leaving my child here everyday to learn and play."
Tucker
We wanted to say thank you SO much for the phenomenal care and education you provided our children! We just had our son's first grading period for kindergarten and I have attached his report so that you can share with Ms. Kiehne! His teacher is SO impressed with him; he is already reading at a first grade level and she said he shows so much leadership and respect in the classroom. This is all because of the amazing work of Ms. Kiehne and Miniapple!
The public schools in our area are ranked in the top of the country so they have very high academic standards for the kids!
Brittany Ulrich
We are incredibly thankful for the community, learning environment and dedicated staff for the past 5 years at Miniapple. It offers peace of mind to know our girls have a safe, encouraging and tailored place to grow and learn. We highly recommend choosing MIniapple!
Malia Caruso
What a wonderful experience my sons have had at Miniapple. The families and caregivers are from many parts of the world blending in for the common good of all children. Our kids learned so much at this school. Our younger son has had special needs and their curriculum was geared towards his individual needs that we appreciated very much.
John
"Please, send our sincere thank you to Mrs. Sara, Mrs. Marie and Mrs. Robin. It was a pleasure to connect with them today. Our daughter tried to talk to Mrs. Sara and it was very emotional.
We are so thankful that they dedicate the time to frequently check in and send examples of work even during this crisis. We adore the
music class and the Zoom calls with our friends. Our girls LOVE watching the morning class videos/book readings. Your teachers have been a ray of sunshine during this time."
Lada Augst
"If you are looking for an amazing place for your infant, toddler or preschooler, I highly recommend Miniapple International Montessori School. It is an AMAZING school! The teachers are loving, kind and caring, and the education they teach your kids will amaze you! My daughter is only 4 years old and she knows how to do basic math, is learning how to pronounce letters to read, and has basic life living skills (cooking, cleaning, gardening, etc.). Her spark in learning is incredible! She always stops to look at the trees, flowers and plants, and is always so interested in learning how things work around her! She’s always so kind and loving to her friends and to her environment. She’s so thoughtful and caring of people around her, and to the animals and to the earth! I can go on and on and tell stories after stories as to why I feel this way! I give credit to her teachers and school for sparking her interest in learning! She thrives every day, from month to month, and it is so incredible to see! This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and I can’t put into words how much I love and appreciate her school and her teachers! If you want to watch your toddler grow and thrive, this is the school for you! It’s more than a daycare center, it is an actual school, geared around education and lifelong skills! Make sure to plan ahead because there is usually a waiting list."
- Quynh
"The nurturing, loving, supportive, and educational environment you have provided our daughter (and our entire family) has been a tremendous impact on the young lady she is on her way to being."
- Nicole
"If we could sum up our experience at Miniapple International Montessori, we say that 'It is/was the best parenting decision we have made.' I can remember curious little Owen on his first days/weeks at MIM at a mere 18 months old entering Ms. Sara’s class. He was ready for the fun, challenging and consistent environment. Then came Children’s House. We would sometimes remind Ms. Marie that 'She picked Owen!' They had a connection from the beginning which has been fun to watch. Her firm and fair style is exactly what Owen needed. We are sending him off to his new school and feel so great about the investment we made in him and the investment you have all made in him. His time in the past year with Ms. Marie has been astounding related to development and maturity. Even on the more difficult days he never once said, 'I don’t want to go to school. Owen told us that 'Ms. Brittany is clearly going to miss me.'
-Tina
"I am so grateful to be able to have Bella & Luca as part of the Miniapple family - knowing that they are safe, well taken care of, and enjoying their time while growing & developing! Keeping them safe has always been a top priority, but this year I learned how I do not take their safety for granted. Thank you for all that you do for my babies!"
