"We’ve had at least one child at Miniapple Montessori since 2012. Our older daughter started when she was 7-months-old and finished when she was five-years-old. The staff at Miniapple took excellent care of her. When she was a baby, they taught her how to sleep on a cot, sit at a table, drink out of a cup, and use crayons and other art supplies to draw. As a toddler, they potty trained her for us! She knew how to use the bathroom by the time she was 1.5 years old. The toddler teacher taught her numbers and letters, as well as practical things like how to dress herself for going outside. My older daughter left Miniapple reading at a first-grade level, thanks to all the time her toddler and pre-K teachers spent teaching her letters, sounds, and how to put that all together to read. She also was advanced in her math skills, thanks to the staff at Miniapple. My younger daughter has been at Miniapple since she was 5-months-old, and is now in her last year of pre-school. We’ve had the same wonderful experience with her, and she is on track to be reading by the time she leaves Miniapple as well. I could not be more grateful to the staff at Miniapple for the loving care and patience they have shown both of my children, and for the time they have spent preparing them to succeed academically."

She scored the highest in the class on her kindergarten reading assessment. She knows most of the sight words, all her letters and the majority of her letter sounds at the start of kindergarten. My child loves to read and to practice sounding out and memorizing new words. Thank you for teaching her these early reading skills! "We love Miniapple Montessori! As new parents during a pandemic, we were very worried about starting our first child in full-time daycare, but we were not able to manage long-term with two working parents and childcare at home. Our son started at Miniapple in an infant room at 6 months and has thrived and will soon move to one of their toddler classrooms. We love the Montessori method and can see how quickly he is learning things and that he is already developing independence and the ability to complete tasks on his own successfully. His teachers are kind and warm and clearly have his best interests at heart. They have been quick to communicate any issues, and the directors are very accessible and easy to reach as well. The facility and classrooms are very comfortable and we love the Roseville location close to other errands and businesses. Notably, throughout our entire pandemic experience, we have never had our son sent home due to a positive child or teacher in his class, and we are really impressed with all the steps they have taken and continue to take to maintain a safe environment."

We love the fact that parents can provide their own food, which allowed us to ensure our kiddo got a diet that worked best for them. The admin staff is very warm, helpful and responsive. During the pandemic, there was a lot of uncertainty, changing laws/rules, etc., and Lisa and her team were always transparent and quick to communicate all of this information. "We started my older daughter in the toddler room at Miniapple in 2015. My younger daughter started in the infant room in 2017. Today we say goodbye as my younger daughter starts school in our local elementary school. We are so sad to say goodbye to a school where we have been welcomed over the past 7.5 years. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for the Roseville Miniapple school and staff. It was an exceptional place for my kids. We immediately loved the look and feel of Miniapple—tidy classrooms with nicely arranged 'jobs' on the shelves, neutral colors, and well-placed art. Director Lisa gave us our tour and we were so impressed with her. The students would say hi to her in the hallway. She knew all their names and she spoke to them with such respect. My daughter was a shy and particular infant. She would only allow a small and specific set of infant teachers hold her. All the infant teachers were so kind about it. She outgrew her shyness and has flourished as a leader. My kids have had amazing teachers that really inspired them to learn and think. There’s a lot of mutual respect between teachers and kids. Ms. Aisha, their preschool teacher, is so calm, which was perfect counterbalance for my high energy kids. I admire her ability to patiently teach kids to read and learn math. Ms. Mary is silly, patient, and wonderful. She’s always happy. I credit Ms. Robin with my kids love of singing—they sing all the time. Birthday celebrations are great—I love that the kids walk around the 'sun' and then each student says a wish for the birthday kid. My kids thrived with the 'jobs' which ranged from simple to complex. The kids learned practical skills in addition to reading and math skills. We really valued education centered around peace, friendship, kindness, and diversity. We loved all the extras—music class, French with Ms. Marie, yoga, and soccer. My kids loved the playground outside, and the inside 'gym' is fantastic. I really feel so lucky that that we found Miniapple 7.5 years ago."

"I had to send a message because I had the most lovely first grade conference for my son. I was, of course, very proud to hear how well he’s doing in reading and math, but I was even more proud to hear his teacher remark about what a good leader he is in the classroom, his thoughtfulness with others, and his excitement to learn. "We have loved seeing our child grow and learn so many new things. Every day she comes home and shows us the new skills she has learned. She folds all of our towels big and small and I've just enjoyed her company and jokes while I'm doing chores like laundry. Lucy has also loved the field trips. She announced at a family celebration that she went on a party bus and we all should go on a party bus. All judging eyes came our way until we got to explain and share a good laugh. After the apple orchard trip, she skewered everyone an apple for a pretend 'caramel' apple dessert that night."
