Infant Program at Roseville and Oakdale locations
Children between the ages of 6 weeks and 16 months may attend the infant program. Infant-sized furniture, movement apparatus, and developmentally appropriate toys are provided to meet infant needs. Movement, language development and independence in the areas of eating, sleeping, clothing, and practical life activities are points of interest for the infants and very young toddlers. Parents and caregivers receive daily written and verbal communication to meet the needs of growing babies.

Toddler Community
Children ages 16-33 months may begin their Montessori experience in our Toddler Community. This peaceful environment is thoughtfully designed to encourage independence in very young children. They engage in purposeful work appropriate for the developing child. Attractive materials are carefully arranged to meet the child's need for order and to invite exploration rich with opportunities for language development, movement, and exercises of practical life. The toddler develops his attention span, coordination, and feelings of security and independence daily while participating in individual and group games, world music, story time, and arts and crafts. Daily routine in the Toddler Community includes opportunities for large muscle development on our indoor or outdoor playground facilities, nap, and a variety of healthy snacks.

Children's House
The Children's House provides a warm and nurturing environment designed to meet the needs of children 2 1/2 to 6 years. Experienced, dedicated, and highly qualified Montessori trained guides carefully prepare the environment to meet each child's need for purposeful activity and enrichment. The Montessori materials in each Miniapple Children's House include exercises in the areas of Practical Life, Language, Sensorial and Mathematics. In addition, children explore Geography, Social Studies, Science and Art. Our multi-age classrooms provide opportunities for children to learn from and teach their peers. Students make discoveries about themselves and the world as they pursue activities of their own choosing, progressing at their own pace. The choices, enjoyable activities, and a non-competitive environment at Miniapple lead children as they develop a lifetime love of learning. In addition, Miniapple includes weekly French or Spanish lessons and world music sessions as part of the Montessori curriculum.

Private Kindergarten (Monday through Friday)
The Kindergarten program at Miniapple is an extension of the traditional Montessori setting. It is an opportunity for the children to learn new skills in a wide range of academic subjects at their own pace, including Math, Language, Geography, and Science. There are year-long programs consisting of group and individual activities that carry the development of the child to a new level intellectually and socially. A staff to student ratio of 1:10 and a smaller class size allow for more individual attention than the traditional Kindergarten classroom. The exceptional Miniapple Kindergarten program is recognized by the State of Minnesota and prides itself on global curriculum, international outlook, and teachers from around the world.  Ask us about our Kindergarten tuition discount.
