We celebrate 101 years of Montessori!
On January 6th, 1907, Dr.
Maria Montessori opened the first Casa dei Bambini in the slums of Rome and began what has become a global educational movement.
Today there are close to 22,000 schools in over 100 countries around the world! The Montessori method has touched the
lives of countless children and families. We are proud to be a part of this wonderful legacy.
"Whoever touches the life of the child touches
the most sensitive point of a whole which has roots in the most distant past and climbs toward the infinite future." - Maria
Montessori
"And so we discovered that education is not something
which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being.” - Maria Montessori
